Animated GIF snippets from an animation ident. Gradient banding doesn't look great but I experimented with the file size to keep it to a minimum, hence the need for compromise. Plain, flat colours (such as vector Illustrator files) would of course avoid the banding, or higher values settings when exporting the GIF in PS would offer a greater fidelity of colours, textures, backgrounds... but: higher quality GIF = larger file size VS. low quality GIF = small file size and faster upload. In this case I wanted to keep these test GIF anim. under 1 MB, with a relatively large width/height of 960 x 540 px.
